Some time ago now I had a Fiat Punto and it was truly a crap pile of random plastic and tin bit held together with nothing more than spit and prayers. I swore I’d never have another Fiat after that one. I bought the Subaru new a few years back and after suffering the hit of depreciation I swore I’d never buy a new car again.
This week I took delivery of a new Fiat 500.
Will be trying to avoid making black and white statements from now on.
Tis a great little car actually. Went for the 1.4 Sport version which isn’t really what you would call sporty but it has a button marked Sport on the dash. Has a whole 100BHP and 6 gears + traction control 
Paired with the iPhone no problem and lets you make calls hands free with voice commands. Media Player is pretty cool with steering wheel controls and decent sound. The ECO Drive software is now installed and tracking my driving. In a couple of days it assures me it will have enough info to tell me how to improve my ECO driving style. It is blissfully unaware of the Porsche and the Kawasaki in the garage, otherwise I think it’s advice would be to sell them first.
It’s doing nearly 40mpg at the moment, I’ve not felt the need to do more than 70 and I have even washed and waxed it. Maybe I need to restyle this site in green and hug some trees
